Day-into-Date Dresses

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

We look fabulous! Let hold hands...

These girls are looking very gay in their Day-into-Date Dresses! Simply switch the skirt to go from a “day into date” look. The dress is made out of “Cloud-soft classics of Cohama Velgado, a new wonder-blend of Acrilan and Rayon that looks and feels like lightweight Wool Flannel.” And ladies, it’s washable, too! They have four colors to choose from – Beige, Emerald Green, Lilac or Coppertone.

(Don’t you just love the word “wonder-blend?”)

Hats, Gloves and Shoes (1964)

From the Montgomery Ward 1964 Spring/Summer Catalog

I heard the phrase, “You can never have enough hats, gloves and shoes” somewhere, but I can’t remember where. Whomever said it, I completely agree with them!

The Bride: A Vision of Loveliness

From the Montgomery Ward 1964 Spring/Summer Catalog
“The Bride – A Vision of Loveliness in Her Gown of Radiant Beauty”

It is only $69.98 for the dress and $17.98 for the crown with veil. I think I will clip this for my wedding book. I don’t even have a steady, but I will have my book ready for when the time comes! (Fingers crosses, darlings, fingers crossed)
